New Mario Kart 8 Announced

Nintendo just announced the highly anticipated Mario Kart 8 for Wii-U but with a very vague release date of "Spring 2014." I myself haven't found the need to purchase a Wii-U just yet but Mario Kart would be the game to bring me over the edge. I just envision the late nights spent on N64 and Gamecube where banana peels and blue shells could make or break a relationship.
